Assam Science and Technology University​

ASTU- Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) is the university established by Government of Assam under Assam Science & Technology University Act 2009 to provide education and research in science & technology and other professional courses in Assam.

All engineering/technical colleges/institutions of Assam are affiliated to this university. ASTU now has more than 32 affiliated colleges / institutions, conducting undergraduate and post-graduate programmes in engineering, science, management, pharmaceutical sciences and a few professional courses.The University also conducts an inhouse post-graduate course in Energy Engineering.

The Central Research Hub of ASTU with sophisticated equipment and instruments is an international standard research platform for young researchers of the State.
