Northeast Hackathon 2022
Northeast Hackathon is conceptualized by Redlemon Technologies and StartupAssam in association with Assam Science and Technology University. The mission of organizing the Northeast Hackathon is to identify the best talents across educational institutions and colleges in developing problem solving ability amongst students in different sectors of focus areas and encourage them to enter the startup ecosystem across Northeast India. With this mission in mind, we teamed up with Assam Science and Technology University and organized Assam Hackathon in 2018 followed by Northeast Hackathon in 2019, thereby extending it to the whole Northeastern Region. We also organized e-Hackathon in 2021.
Northeast Hackathon 2022 focused on solving problem statements in the following sectors:

Healthcare

Application of Biotechnology

Application of AI and Machine Learning

Agriculture and Rural economy
-
Smart Education
We believe we can identify problem statements in these fields and come up with ideas/concepts to address these challenges/issues during this year’s Hackathon.
1. The competition is organized for all students across Northeast India.
2. Last date for submission of the Business Plan (B-Plan) is 19th March 2022 [10 PM]. LINK: https://forms.gle/7DCdw7Dy4hGBFTvD9
3. Participants can either submit their B-Plan on their own or submit it with their team. You may have a maximum of 5 members in a team.
4. After the selection in the first round, participants will be intimidated by 11 PM, 19th March. The participants will be evaluated based on a 2 (two) minute elevator pitch scheduled on 20th March 2022 [Online for outstation students] followed by a 7 (seven) min presentation pitch round scheduled on 22nd March2022.
5. The final competition will be held in Guwahati and the finalist will be notified by the hackathon team to attend the programme.
6. Travel and Accommodation will be provided to outstation students from Guwahati.
7. Prize announcement of the programme will be done on 22nd March 2022.
8. Winners of the Competition will be incubated at one of the leading Incubation Center.
9. In addition to the Prize Money (worth of Rs 3 Lakhs), winners will get Rs. 3 Lakhs worth of credit by G Plus (Guwahati Plus) and attend a workshop by IIM Calcuta at Assam Startup, in Guwahati.
