Whats New?
In Northeast Hackathon 2023 problem statements of different sectors of specific industries in Northeast India will be provided by entrepreneurs, professionals, companies, Government organizations, incubation centers, educational institutions, startups and so on. These problem statements are categorically distributed into different sectors.
The problem statements will be opened for students to participate and provide a business model in the form of solution in software, hardware, business plan or combination thereof to achieve a solution to the problem

Our Objectives
- To build-up the problem solving abilities of students.
- To work on developing the startup ecosystem of Northeast India through the hackathon and e-activities.
- To work on real life problems of various sectors of the industry and find solutions.
- To provide incubation facilities to best 10 teams in the startup and innovation cell of ASTU and involve them in product development through mentoring by a host of experts from industry and academia with funding support from the industry across the country.

Assam Science and Technology university (ASTU) is the university established by Government of Assam under Assam Science & Technology University Act 2009 to provide education and research in science & technology and other professional courses in assam.
